CUSTOM HOME OR BUSINESS PORTRAITS IN WATERCOLOR

	A home or business portrait is an exquiste gift for yourself, your family, or for that someone special for many occasions, such as:

To commission a house or business portrait, I will need one or more photographs of a favorite angle or view. Mail this with your deposit to the address below. When I receive your envelope, I will call you to discuss the atmosphere you wish to create along with your preferences, such as season of the year, which trees and flowers would be in bloom, and any items that should be added or removed from the photographs. If the home or business is near the Chicago North Shore I can assist in taking photographs for a nominal fee. As you can see from the portraits included on this page, images of children, pets, and favorite automobiles or other vehicles can also be added.

The approximate prices for unframed matted watercolors are shown in this price schedule. If I take the photographs (local only) the additional charge will depend upon the distance and time required which could range from $15 to $50. Other costs could result because of unusually elaborate architecture or landscaping. Images of children, pets or vehicles are priced at $20 each, and images of children, can only be included on the three largest sizes.	Size of Painting	Size with Mat	Price

A 50% deposit is required to begin the drawing and painting process. I generally paint on Arches cold press paper which has a small and pleasing texture. The painting usually takes two to four weeks to complete, depending upon the complexity of the project and the time of the year. Please place your holiday and special occasion orders early. Upon completion I will call to arrange final payment and delivery. I would either personally deliver or mail the completed painting in a large mailing tube if you are not in the Chicago area. All paintings mailed will not include a mat and will always be mailed in a tube to prevent damage. A home or a business is more than the roof over our heads.
